The Gibson Melody Maker series from 2011 were a no frills in-expensive line of electric guitars that were made in the USA.
Like a traditional Melody Maker, the body is thinner than normal, and they're cosmetically stripped of many features.
Unlike the traditional Melody Makers, these were offered in different shapes - like this Explorer.
Rarely seem Blue version of this beast... this features
- A Satin Nitro Lacquer Finish
- Thin Maple Body
- Mahogany Neck
- Torrified Maple Fretboard - looking like rosewood
- Single Gibson 491T Humbucker
- Single Volume Knob
Overall in Very Good- Condition with some wear / dings / marks through the lacquer.
As seen in the pictures. The cool thing about this guitar is that it's a Satin Nitro Lacquer finish but that also make the finish more fragile/prone to wear.
Comes with original Gibson Explorer Shaped GigBag.
