All returns require a return authorization number (RA#), and it must be written clearly on the front of the package. You can obtain and RA# only by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org We will not accept any return without an RA#. Gear Music will only issue an RA# within 7 days of receiving your product, and are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Defective merchandise will only be replaced by the same item. Items must be postmarked no later than three (3) business days after an RA# is issued. The freight charges will be deducted on top the restocking charge, and actual freight charges will be deducted from orders qualifying for “free” shipping. This applies to online orders that are shipped. If you choose to pick up your order in person you have the opportunity to inspect and play your instrument and the 25% restocking fee will not apply under normal circumstances.
Returns must contain all original packaging, components, manuals and warranty cards and must be properly packed for shipping. We will inspect all returns for signs of abuse and wear and additional charges may apply. Items that contain downloadable codes will have to be verified as unused.
There are no returns on special order, non-stock, discontinued or clearance items, software, earphones, books, compact discs, DVDs, harmonicas, pitch pipes, any instrument that comes in contact with your mouth, tubes, fuses, used or opened strings, drum sticks, drum heads, cartridges, picks, or clothing.
Gear Music does not offer cash refunds. You will be refunded using the same credit card as the original purchase. Other means of payment will be paid using a Gear Music cheque.
Gear Music does not offer warranties on any products. All warranties offered are the responsibility of the manufacturer.
Some instruments and products require assembly or maintenance and adjustments. Do not attempt to repair or alter any products beyond their intended specifications.
