That quote may be lost on some of the younger folk... but the Marshall Tone is not lost on Younger/Older and in-betweens.
This is the Classic Old School Marshall tone in a lower wattage, less expensive format.
All the beauty of an Original Old British Marshall but with a Tilt control, effects loop, master volume and gain boost.
If you're looking for higher, more modern gain, perhaps look at the DS line from Marshall... if you're looking for something with less gain and the tone of the late 60's 70's but you can't afford a re-issue Plexi (or an original) and/or you can't turn up a 100 watt head in your neighborhood, this Origin Head is your next best friend.
Featuring a 3 position output selector - Low/Medium/High and a master volume, you can achieve the tone you want and would expect from Marshall, at a more manageable level.
The Tilt switch takes the original idea of chaining up the two channels (bright and normal) from an original 4 input Marshall, and having it done for you.
You want less brightness, rotate the knob a little left of centre. You want more of the Bright channel sound, rotate a little to the right of centre. Easy.
Has an effects loop and gain boost - both footswitchable.
