Product Description

6 String Solidbody Electric Guitar featuring a mahogany body, with a figured maple top, 3 piece neck with Rosewood fretboard, 2 humbucking T top pickups, cherry sunburst finish in excellent condition with Original Case.

10.2 lbs

A wonderful example of the last bunch of Les Pauls made in the Original Kalamazoo Plant.
By this time, 1981, most of the guitars coming out of the Kalamazoo plant were part of the "Heritage" series (NOT to be confused with the Heritage Brand that came along a few years later) or the "KM" models. But, they continued to make a few regular Les Paul Standards, like this one.

Featuring a Mahogany Body with a Subtle Figured Flame Maple top, mahogany neck, with a slight neck volute at the nut.
Like many of the late 70's/early 80's Les Pauls, it has low wide frets... sometimes known as "Fretless Wonders".
The 2 piece top has a subtle flame figure to it and a nice example of the Cherry Burst Finish.
The body is a One piece Mahogany body, the neck is 3 piece Mahogany.

Pickups are original T top humbuckers, all electronics are original as is  the hardware.
Speaking of hardware, the machine heads are Schaller "S" branded.

This Consignment guitar is in Excellent condition with very minimal play wear. Frets are in great condition as is the body, neck and finish.
Some very light play wear on the back of the body, very light.
An excellent almost "Time Capsule" of a 44 year old Les Paul Standard from the Original Kalamazoo Factory.
