Originally launched in 1956 the ES135 was the worlds first Florentine Cutaway Semi Solid Electric Guitar.
It's history goes back to 1956, and then discontinued in 1958 to be re-released in 1991-2004.
Features a florentine cutaway body style, laminate maple body construction, centre sustaing block, 1 P-100 pickups (Stacked P-90) 2 Volume and Tone controls, 3 way switch and Trapeze bridge.
Similar in construction to an ES335 but the feedback supressing sustain block in the body is made of lighter weighted wood.
The set in neck is also made of maple, instead of the more commonly used mahogany and features a slightly smaller headstock angle providing more overall strength to the neck.
These thin line archtops are very cool. This one is no exception!
Looks great, plays great and sounds great!
Overall this used guitar is in excellent condtion - anything that looks like scratches in the photos are glare from the glossy ebony finish!
There is a bit of wear at the heel of the neck - as seen in the photo.
Comes with TKL hardcase.
