Bundles are great.

A bundle lets a budding musician get everything he or she needs to get started in one convenient package.

Traditionally, they might get a guitar, strap, gig bag, cable, and some picks, along with a practice amplifier that’s perfect for mastering those first chords, licks, and songs.

The limitation of the traditional bundle is that, when it’s time to play with other musicians, the practice amplifier probably isn’t loud enough to be heard. It may get outgrown pretty quickly.

The Guitar Studio from Yamaha offers a fresh take on the starter bundle, with a 24-bit USB audio interface instead of a practice amp. This interface lets you connect the guitar to your computer, opening up a new world of creative possibilities.

The included software lets you sculpt your guitar tones with the built-in amp simulator effect, and essential tools like the metronome and tuner help you practice and improve.

Once you’ve got your sound down, the software offers multi-track recording so that you can capture your performance, and accompany yourself with the included loops and virtual instruments. The included Sequel LE tutorial DVD provides an introduction to topics ranging from getting everything connected, using effects to find your sound, recording, and mixing down.

The Guitar Studio bundle provides everything you need to get started, and everything you need to keep going.
