USED Yamaha SBG3000T w/OHSC - CONSIGNMENT
This Rare Yamaha SBG3000T gives you the 'Magic Power' to 'Follow Your Heart' and 'Never Surrender'!
Here in the Southern Ontario Region, we like to think of this as the first Unofficial Rik Emmett Yamaha Electric Guitar. I believe it was Rik that first asked them to put their locking trem on an SBG3000 Electric. There are only a handful (if that) out there in the wild.
On its own, the SBG3000 is a top of the line Double Cut Away Yamaha Electric Guitar - made in Japan - as used by the likes of Carlos Santana and Rik Emmett.
The line of SBG, or "SG" electrics from Yamaha are legendary.
This is a beautiful instrument in Excellent condition with Original Case!
There are a few small wear marks and dings - most notably on the tip of the headstock, as seen in the picture.
Comes with the whammy bar but all the thumb screw/fine tuners are missing. We are trying to sourced some out. Fortunately, the Yamaha locking trem was available on a host of other models and shouldn't be too dificult to source a replacement.
It's hard to think that this guitar is almost 40 years old, circa 1986 (!)
Regardless if you're a Rik Emmett / Triumph fan, this is a wonderful (and very rare) electric guitar. Plays great, sounds great - you can really 'Lay it on the Line' with this guitar!
