The Revstar series of guitars are almost updated versions of the original Yamaha SGB line of guitars - double cutaway, set neck construction, etc.
Featuring a light weight, chambered double cut mahogany body with maple top loaded with two Yamaha VP5 P-90 Style Single Coil pickups to give growl and punch to the warmth and round acoustic tone of the body.
Not only is the body exceptional to look at, it's comfortable to play taking it's asthetic inspiration from 1960's British Racing Motorcycles/Cafe Racers.
And then there's the fantastic VP5 P-90 style pickups that have that bark and punch you'd expect with the twang/top end of a single coil pickup.
AND, then there's the Yamaha "Focus"switch - as a push/pull switch which is sort of a HP filter, adjusting your pickups resonant frequency and pushes it over the top
The neck is a mahogany, satin finish, slim profile fantastic playing thing of joy. Featuring a bound rosewood 22 fret fingerboard with a 12" radius.
This guitar is a great all round instrument but excels in more the rock tones.
This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with very little play wear. Comes with original Yamaha Deluxe Padded Gigbag.
