USED Townshend Labs Sphere Modeling Condersor Microphone - CONSIGNMENT
A used Townshend Labs Sphere modeling condenser microphone — a dual-capsule large-diaphragm system designed to capture enough spatial/capsule information for software mic modeling, instead of a single fixed condenser voicing.
In the Sphere workflow you record through the hardware mic, then use the companion modeling plug-in to dial classic microphone types and polar patterns (cardioid, figure-8, omni, and in-between options depending on the model). That makes it a flexible studio tool for vocals, acoustic sources, and cabinets when you want options after the take — not only at tracking time.
Useful when rack space and mic locker budget are limited but you still want a wide range of condenser characters from one body.
This Townshend Labs Sphere comes with shock mount, cable, microphone bag and carrying case.
For the Townshend Labs to function properly, you need the supplied XLR "Y" Cable and 2 inputs available on your interface. This mic requires phantom power.
This Consignment microphone is in excellent condition with very little signs of play wear.
