USED ThroBak KOSS-30 MXV Paul Kossoff Humbuckers Aged Nickel w/Box

Kris Blakely, the current owner of the Kossoff guitar approached ThroBak to make a repro set of the pickups that are in the guitar.
These pickups have an interesting back story that relates to another famous - perhaps more famous - Les Paul, the Greeny.
Both pickups have the same Steel Bobbin screws and share the same Winding Pattern that was found from the Meteor 301 Winding Machine.
These pickups are probably 'Brothers', if you will. AND, both pickups have been "repaired" by the infamous Sam Li, back in the day.

Sam was a bit of an interesting luthier/repair person, doing repairs a little un-orthadox especially compared to todays repairs.
Either way, he had a bit of magic in his repairs and everything seemed to work out, in the end.

Kossoff had a repair to the neck pickup and there are tell tale signs that Li may have re-wound the Bridge Pickup.

ThroBak offers a set as "Pre Repair" and "Post Repair" which is kind of what everyone is looking for in the Kossoff Burst.

These Used pickups are in excellent condition. They are the Post Repair models and feature an aged Nickel cover.
They come with original box and packaging materials.
