USED Teisco MJ-2L Mid 60's Electric Guitar Made in Japan
Vibey solid body electric guitar from the 1960's made in Japan.
Over the the past few years, Teisco guitars have enjoyed a real come back... and there's a reason for this. They're super cool!
This is a super cool vibey guitar from the mid 60's. dating of Teisco guitars is basically a crap shoot but we've seen a MJ-2L with the exact same appointments (but was missing the trem arm) and was dated at 1965. Again, serial numbers for Teisco guitars aren't that reliable but our serial number was a few number less than the one that was dated at 1965.
So... we're saying circa 1965 for this guitar.
Overall, this funky machine is in Very Good Condition... realistically, compared to others on the market this one could be considered Excellent condition. There is some play wear and a few small dings. The original trem/bridge cover (almost like an ashtray cover) is missing and there are some marks left from the cover.
The high "E" tuner needs to be reset to the back of the neck - it works, just that one of the screws is lifting out from the headstock.
The original "Teisco" badge is missing from the headstock.
