USED Soldano Super Charger GTO Pedal w/AC
Analog overdrive pedal featuring 2 12AX7 preamp tubes, controls for Gain, Tone and Output made by one of the most respected and sought after tube amp builder in the business - a true Amp in a Box pedal in Good Condition.
That term "Amp in a Box" is mention a lot with Overdrive style pedal but this truly is an Amp in the Box style pedal.
Built by Soldano, only for about 6 years, the Supercharger G.T.O. is a wonderful Tube Preamp/Overdrive Pedal.
Yes, there are other overdrive/Pre amp pedals with Tubes but nothing really comes close to this pedal.
Due to "Ppopular demand" Soldano did a re-issue of this pedal in the 2010's, which is still a good pedal (hey, it's still a Soldano) but there's some magic with these original ones.
Featuring a very simple layout - Gain Tone and Output (GTO) it's a very versatile pedal that features that classic Soldano SLO drive and works with various amplifiers - from Fender to Marshall to Vox styles.
It sounds great in front of a Clean amp but where it really shines is with an amp that's already crunchy/overdriven - then it sounds Glorious and Smurftastic.
They were made for approx. 6 years, so they're not exactly Rare but they are getting more difficult to find on the used market.
The only real downside of this pedal is the size... it does take up real estate on your pedal board, and it has some weight - 6.6 lbs
Measurements 10 3/4" x 6 3/4" x 4" tall. Not a small pedal but sometimes you gotta go big.
This Used pedal is in Good Condition - excellent working condition but Good Cosmetically.
The original black labelling has fallen off and been replaced with Red Lettering Labels, that are starting to fall off too.
There are various wear marks throughout the pedal too, but again it's all cosmetics.
Pedal is powered by IEC AC Cable - included.
