The S-2 guitars were started in 2013 and while still made in the USA, at the PRS factory, these are supposed to provide a more affordable USA Made instrument.
Featuring an all mahogany flat top body that’s a little thinner, and lighter, then other PRS Core models.
Weighing in at an astoundingly light 5.8 lbs, this guitar punches way above its weight class!
The body is finished in a gorgeous McCarty Tobacco gloss finish and is fitted with 2 “Mira” hum bucking pickups that have the ability to be split via the push/pull tone control.
Also “Mira Distinctive” is the flowing shaped pick guard.
The neck is a 22 fret, 25” scale length mahogany construction fitted with a rosewood fingerboard, with those famous PRS Bird Inlays.
The neck profile is what PRS calls the “Pattern Profile” and it’s based off the neck profile of the pre factory instruments. It’s a very comfortable, great playing neck!
The finishing touch is the locking tuners.
All these features plus a super light weight, back and shoulder friendly, guitar and you get a killer American made instrument.
This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with some slight play wear, most notable is a small ding in the top - seen in picture.
