This Prestige is an offshore, in-expesnive copy of the famous Music Man Stingray Bass. The company Prestige is a Canadian importer and builder of guitars and Basses.
This little guy is an import from the far east, although from our perspective, it should be the far west (?) Either way, it's a great little offshore copy of the world famous bass.
Featuring a solid wood body - probably alder, with a bolt on maple neck, rosewood neck and maple neck with a traditional 4 in line machine heads (compared to the Music Man 3/1 combination)
Providing the thump and power is a great little humbucking pickup along with an active 3 band eq - Bass, Mid, Treble cut/boost. Yes Virginia, this is Active!
A great little beginner bass or backup/second bass. Don't let the in-expensive look fool you, it's a killer little bass!
