USED Ovation 2178 Ultra Acoustic Electric Deep Bowl
6 String Acoustic Electric Guitar featuring a Solid Spruce Top, deep contour single cutaway body, mahogany and maple neck, walnut bridge, onboard preamp with tuner and 3 band eq, exotic soundhole rosettes in Excellent condition.
The 2178 Ultra, circa 2008, was a bit of a unique guitar production wise - they called it Hybrid Manufacturing where the build started off shore (Korea) and assembly was finished, along with setup and final inspection at the USA Shop in New Hartford.
This features a solid spruce top, finished in solid black with 5 piece exotic wood rosettes around the soundholes.
Neck is a Mahogany/Maple ply construcion with a slim, Soft "V" neck profile and a rosewood bound fingerboard.
The unique Ovation Bowl Back is a full depth but has a newer designed Contoured Bowl Back to help make it more comfortable and prevent "Slipping" off the lap.
inside you get Scalloped LX Bracing and the onboard OP-Pro Preamp and Ovation High Output Pickup. Oh yeah, and a tuner is built into the preamp.
This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with some minor play wear.
Does not come with a bag or case.
