USED Ovation 1994 Collectors Series Acoustic Electric w/Case - CONSIGNMENT
6 String Acoustic Electric guitar featuring a Spruce Top, Cutaway body style, distinctive composite bowl back/sides, Optima Pre Amp with Original Case in Excellent Condition.
It came from 1994... 31 years ago!! I guess you could consider this a "Vintage" guitar.
Love 'em or Hate them, Ovation has carved out a very unique spot in the Acoustic (and somewhat electric) market, and they're still very popular today!
This is a limited edition "1994" Collectors Series featuring the, then, new Optima Preamp and EQ System which, at the time, was unique to this model.
Featuring 4 bands of Eq and a steep notch filter to "surgically cut feeback, one note at a time" perfect for live performances/plugging into an amp.
There are 2 outputs to choose from... a standard 1/4" jack and a Balanced XLR jack, with phantom power - no need for a direct box, just plug direct to the board/p.a.
The Preamp also features an oboard chromatic tuner.
The guitar is constructed from a 2 pc AAA Spruce Top with the famous Ovation Composite Bowl Back body. In this case, the bowl back is an elegant Brown colour.
Mahogany neck has a very comfotable "V" shape to it, 10" radius and 25 1/4" Scale Length. The Fretboard is Ebony with "1994" banner inlaid at the 12th Fret.
The mahogany neck has a very comfortable Satin finish to it.
Finished in a Natural Gloss top with a unique soundhole rosette pattern made from Figured Ash, Ebony, Maple and Black Pearl.
This Consignment guitar is in Excellent condition and comes with Original Hard Shell Case. Some slight play wear, but very slight.
You might not need a new guitar but everybody wants an "Ovation".
