USED Mosrite 1966 MARK XVIII Joe Maphis Double Neck - CONSIGNMENT

Mosrite  Mark XVIII "Joe Maphis" Double Neck circa 1966.

From the Original Promo Material in 1965...

"The new JOE MAPHIS SOLID BODY ELECTRIC DOUBLE NECK guitar, by MOSRITE. This guitar is truly a musical masterpiece and boasts such newer features as two slender speed necks, adjustable hi-fi pickups, a complete fuller range of high and lows, more drive and response. Quality and craftsmanship make the JOE MAPHIS DOUBLE NECK guitar the unrivaled KING OF STRINGS , for which it was named. This six and twelve string guitar is designed with the precision of a flight into orbit."

In most case, you see these designated as the "Joe Maphis" Signature model, which is what they are, but in some rare instances a regular MARKXVIII, without the Joe Maphis sname attached come around.

This Beautiful Vintage Mosrite is ready to 'fly into orbit'. 

Overall it's in excellent condition, with the original Candy Apple Red Style finish and hardware that Semie Moseley was known for.
The only thing worth noting is there is a small ding on the face of the body  - as indicated in one of the pictures. Otherwise, it is in amazing condition for 50+ years!
