Pair of Vintage PAF inspired hand wound humbucking pickups featuring Alnico Magnets, Nickel covers and 4 conductor leads in Excellent condition.
The PAF is the elusive "Holy Grail" of pickups and tone and everyone is trying to make the BEST, most accurate, Modern PAF Style pickup.
Many Consider Lollar Imperials to be in tha Ballpark of the best modern PAF Reproductions.
In his design, he reatined all the classic characteristics of a traditional pickup but balanced the frequencies a bit better and gave the bridge pickup a slight boost.
The Neck pickup features an Alnico 2 Magnet and the Bridge pickup has an ALnico 5 magnet.
Lollar uses a gauss and/or de-gauss system to the magnets to each position to help give them the unique tonal qualities.
These Consignment pickups are in Excellent condition and comes with 4 conductor leads.
