Product Description

The flagship model of the 80's era Kramer Guitars.

The Pacer was the first 'strat style' guitar that Kramer produced in the new line of guitars in 1981.
Known for the Pacer Baretta, the Pacer Imperial was actually the first Kramer model that Eddie was pictured with / owned and played live with Van Halen - during the Diver Down Tour, 1983.

This Pacer Imperial, from 1986, features...

  • Maple Neck with 22 fret rosewood fret board
  • 'pointy' small logo headstock
  • 'E' serial number
  • 2 original humbucker - Seymour Duncan and Schaller
  • master volume, independent tone controls
  • 3 way mini toggle switch for pickup selection
  • black hardware
  • original Floyd Rose
  • alder body with Candy Apple Red finish

A fantastic example of the American Made Kramer guitars - right at the height of 80's scene (and the height of the hair!)

Overall this Consignment guitar is in excellent condition with a few small dings here and there. One of the lock nut screws has been replaced with a chrome one.
The trem cavity cover has a small chip out of a corner and is missing the screw at that corner.

Comes with a gigbag.
