The TM730 is a Talman series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in mid 2020. It represents the reintroduction of the series which had been discontinued (except for signature models) since 2017. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the new J-Line designation.
The TM730 has an alder body bolted to a C-shaped maple neck with a 22-fret katalox fingerboard with white dot position markers. Components include an ITL-PRO retro-styled synchronized tremolo bridge, three Ibanez TM J-Line single coil pickups mounted in a pickguard, a bone nut and Ibanez die-cast tuning machines.
The headstock of the TM730 features a straight-pull design, which allows the strings to come straight off the bone nut, thus eliminating the need for a string tree or a tilt-back design. The fretboard's 12" (305mm) radius is flatter than traditional styled guitars from other brands which enhances the player's ability to bend notes and allows for a lower string action.
