Original First Version of the Gibson P-90 pickup, set of 2 in Very Good Condition.
In 1940, Gibson replaced the "Charlie Christian" pickup with the brand new "P-13"
featured on the new (at the time) ES guitars.
Shortly after, the P-90 was born (both designed by Walt Fuller) with adjustable pole pieces.
That's what we have here. An original set of early Gibson P-90 Pickups.

"Everyone knowith Seth Lover and Ray Butts but we all should know Walt Fuller, for he designith the Rock n Roll Pickup known forth as the P-90. All hail Walt Fuller!"
These Consignment pickups are in very good condition and have the original braided wiring.
The dimensions of these earlier pickups are slightly smaller than modern P-90's, slightly more narrow than current ones.
