USED Gibson Les Paul Menace w/OHSC - CONSIGNMENT
6 String solidbody electric guitar featuring a Mahogany Body, Mahogany neck with ebony fretboard, 2 open coil humbucking pickups, independent volume and tone controls and unique tribal body routings with Original Hard Shell Case in Very Good + condition.
Another short lived limited Les Paul from Gibson that was made for a couple years 2006-2008.
Featuring a very unique Mahogany Les Paul Body, finished in a flat black Matte finish with these Tribal contours. Although they've been described as "Tribal Contours" I wouldn't exaclty call them tribal... they're more like grooves along the edges of the body and some engraved into the top.
This was made for the higher gain peeps. Mmmm Peeps.
The Menacing flat black finish, and Tattoo / Flash art style Gibson logo on the headstock and the fist/brass knuckle inlay at the 5th fret - otherwise, no freboard markers, just a black menacing looking ebony fretboard.
The neck is a slim taper 60's style shape, again inline with more of a higher gain player.
All hardware is... black and menacing.
And then there's the really cool, clear bobbin or "Smokey Coil" 490R and 498T Humbucking pickups to add to the menacing look.
All menacing aside, it's a pretty cool guitar! A very unique and not seen that often limited model from almost 30 years ago!! Argh, what's going on with the time travel these days?
This Consignment guitar is in Very Good + condition with a few small little wear marks along the edge of the body, where you can actually see a slight bit of wood coming through the finish. It's a thin matte finish. Because it's matte, there's a some parts of the body that have started to get "buffed out" a bit from play wear. There's some overall light play wear throughout the guitar.
Comes with Original Hardshell Case.
