USED Gibson Les Paul Deluxe circa 1972 Tobacco Burst - CONSIGNMENT

Gibson Les Paul Deluxe, Circa 1972 with an aftermarket hard shell case.
Let's start this off with... This is one of the Lightest 70's Les Pauls we have ever encountered... Heck, this is one of the lightest Non Weight Relieved Les Pauls we have seen.
Weighs a fantastic 7.8 lbs!!
Circa 1972 build with a "Pancake" body construction and 3 Piece Mahogany Neck with Volute. The 6 digit serial number does put it at/in/around (along with the construction and Gibson embossed pickup cover).
The pots, however, date fom 1977/78. It looks like, for some reason, they had been changed in the late 70's.
The Tobacco Sunburst finish look fantastic and if it weren't for the noticeable Ding along the side of the body - as seen in the picture - it would be considered Excellent Condition.
This Consignment guitar is all about the vibe. It's been played, in Very Good condition - with that ding and light wear here and there.
Apparently, it's a single owner guitar, and he played it for years.
I think the added music note decal, on the pickguard, is a great little add to the vibe - and shouldn't be removed (!)
Comes with an aftermarket hard shell case that's good for temporary storage but I wouldn't travel with it.
