USED Gibson 490r 490t Humbuckers Set w/Covers quick connect

4 Conductor Alnico 2 Magnet Humbuckers with Chrome Covers in Excellent condition.

Known as the "Modern Classic" Humbucker from Gibson.

490T (Treble) and 490R (Rhythm), wax potted, alnico 2 magnets with 4 conductor *Quick Connect ends.

These were taken out of a Gibson Les Paul, recently, and can easily be fitted into another modern Gibson - with the quick connect - or any other Humbucker guitar by cutting off the Quick Connect ends and wiring as a regular 4 conductor pickup.

"The 490T bridge pickup is calibrated to match the 490R, with pole pieces aligned a little further apart to accommodate the spacing of the strings at the bridge, which is different than the spacing of the strings at the neck."

With tonal characteristics of the original PAF humbucker but with the wax potting to help reduce microphonic feedback, often a problem with more modern, louder playing of today.

This Used pickup set is in excellent condition.
