This is Fantastic USA made Les Paul Junior for very little money... don't sit on this, it won't last long!
2015 - a time for the "Les Paul 100" birthday party and, sadly, what appears to be Les Pau's death bed signature.
These little beauties originally sported "Robot Tuners" - you didn't have a choice back in 2015. All Gibson Electric Core models came with these Robot Tuners designed and made by G-Force (now Tronical). They were (and still are) rather expensive to buy as an aftermarket set of tuners.
Due to the fact that you didn't have a choice, most of these guitars have had the Robot Overlords stripped off and replaced with regular human powered machine heads.
That is the case with this guitar BUT... the original Robots are included with this guitar!
These also featured a wider neck and wide nut fitted with a zero fret hex key adjustable brass nut. Again, people (not as many as the tuners) replaced these Brass nuts with something like a bone or synthetic bone nut. There's not much you could do about the neck width though - some like it, some don't. Personally I think it's a pretty cool neck/feel.
How much wider is it? Well, about .050" on either side.
Ok, so we're telling you everything that was weird about this guitar and tended to be replaced by players.
This is Very Cool Les Paul Jr. A Single pickup is all you need and it's surprisingly versatile.
A resonant slab Mahogany body, re-designed slim tapered neck and that P-90ST pickup and you're ready to rock!
The P-90ST (Slug, Treble position) features Alnico V magnet and more windings for a hotter output while retaining that single coild chime and sparkle. It's a very cool rockin' pickup.
This Consignment guitar is in excellent condition with minimal play wear.
Original Robot tuners have been replaced with Kluson style
Original zero fret adjustable brass nut has been re-fitted with a Tusq nut, still allowing for height adjustment.
Comes with the Awesome Original Gibson Molded Hard Shell Case.
