USED Gibson 2008 SJ200 EC Cutaway w/OHSC - CONSIGNMENT
6 String Acoustic Electric guitar featuring a Super Jumbo Body shape with rounded cutaway, AAA Grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, Figured Maple Back and sides, 2 piece Maple neck with Walnut stringer, Bound 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, Gold Tuners, Fishman Electronics, Rosewood bridge, finished in Vintage Sunburst in Very Good Condition with Original Hardshell Case.
I know... we throw around the term "Classic" all the time when talking about most of these instruments but c'mon... is there really anything more Classic than the J-200 The Super Jumbo!?!
This is a bit more Unique featuring the Rounded Cutaway Super Jumbo Body Shape and, it's a rare J-200 with a Factory Fishman Aura Electronics.
This Classic features a AAA Solid Sitka Spruce top with Flamed Maple Back and Sides, finished in the Gibson Vintage Sunburst / Tobacco Sunburst.
It has the iconic rosewood Moustache bridge with Mother of Pearl Bar inlays.
The neck is a 2 piece Maple/Walnut construction with a bound rosewood fingerboard and the Gibson signature Graduated Crown Inlays.
The neck is a comfortable rounded profile - it feels great!
What's Class without Gold? While there's not too much hardware on the acoustic, this features Gold Grover Rotomatic Tuners.
Onboard is the Fishman Aurau Pro pickup system - again, not widely used by Gibson, featuring a 3 band active eq, phase control, tuner and blend control between the two pickups.
It sounds great plugged in BUT... acoustically it's a great sounding J-200. You would ask/think if the cutaway body shape takes away from the Glorious sounds of a regular non cutaway J-200 but NO, in this case it sounds every bit the sound and tone of a Super Jumbo!
This Consignment guitar is in Very Good condition with little play wear. Most notable wear is a bit of Lacquer has flaked off the side of the body - as seen in the picture and there's some lacquer checking the top and sides of the body... as seen in photos. Some lacquer wear around heel of neck.
No Cracks or repairs.
Comes with Original Hardshell case.
