Gibson 2002 Aged Historic Reissue 57 Les Paul Custom Aged by Tom Murphy.
An earlier, and excellent, example of a Tom Murphy Aged Gibson reissue '57 Les Paul Custom.
This pre-dates the Murphy Lab, this is aged by Tom Muprhy.
Complete with OHSC and Certificate - the certificate in the picture is a photo copy, the Consignor will bring in the Original when sold.
Featuring a Solid Mahogany Body, set - one piece mahogany neck with bound ebony fingerboard.
Neck radius of 12" with a medium "C" neck shape.
The Neck thickness measures at .93" at the first fret and 1.03" at the 12th.
Pickups measure - Neck p/u 8.0k ohms, Bridge p/u 8.4k ohms.
Guitar weighs 10.7 lbs
This Consignment guitar is in Excellent condition - excellent Aged condition - looks like it has had minimal play overall.
The ageing/relic job by Tom Murphy is fantastic!
The original pots have been replaced with CTS pots and Sprague caps.
Acoustically, this guitar sounds great and very resonant!
Plugged in, it's a Monster! These Aged Historic Reissues are fantastic playing, sounding and superbly made instruments!
