USED Gibson 1996 Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Sunburst
6 String solidbody electric guitar featuring a Mahogany body with a Maple cap, Mahogany Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard, 2 P-90 pickups, in Very Good Condition.
90's Era Les Paul Studios are fantastic guitars. There's a reason you find them in "played" condition, because they're great and they've been played.
At the time they were a great less expensive alternative to the Les Paul Standard.
This Limited Edition features many appointments of the Limited Edition "Gem Series" minus the Gold Hardware and Gem inspired finishes.
Like the Gem Series, this features a pair of wonderful Gibson P-90 pickups, Maple cap on the mahogany body with a Burst finish.
Instead of regular dot inlays on the Rosewood fret board, there are Les Paul Standard style Trapazoid inlays.
Neck profile is similar to a Gibson late 50's (59) roundness but not quite as big. It's a very comfortable neck.
Chrome hardware, Volume and Tone controls for each pickup.
As mentioned, these Studios were great and very popular, these P-90 versions rocked even more and were praised for the sound of the pickups.
This Used guitar is in Very Good condition and has some play wear - most notable is a ding along the edge of the body, close to the output jack, that's been touched up with black touch up paint. Does not come with case.
