6 String Vintage Solidbody Electric Guitar, circa 1964, featuring Mahogany body, single P-90 pickup, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, vibrola tremolo bridge in Exellent condition with original soft shell case.
An excellent example of a 1964 Gibson SG Jr featuring an all original finish and electronics.
Original cherry mahogany finish is still quite vibrant and "cherry" on the face while the back of the body, and neck, are fading with an orange tint.
Featuring the classic SG Slab Mahogany Body, mahogany set neck with Rosewood fingerboard.
The neck is extremely comfortable to play, with a slightly '59 ish neck profile
and a 1 11/16 nut width.
The single P-90 pickups sounds great!! Everything you would hope a vintage (60 year old) P-90 would sound like. It's the Sound.
This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with some play wear and aging in the finish. Most notable is a semi circle mark on the back of the body, what looks to be from a guitar strap.
There's a small ding along the bottom edge of the body, near the cavity control guard - as seen in the picture.
Some small splits in the pickguard at the screws - as seen in the picture.
A seen in the pictures, the majority of the fading is on the back of the body and back of the neck.
Also, as seen in the pictures, the Original Soft Shell "alligator" is included and is rough condition and not to be used to "protect" the guitar. It's really a cool thing to have with the guitar.
