Compact silicon based fuzz pedal featuring controls for Volume, Mids and Fuzz in Excellent condition.
The '70 bc-108 Fuzz pedal was designed to replicate the tones of the late 1960's early 1970's Silicone based Fuzz Face Pedal - famously used by Mr Hendrix, and so many others.
Years earlier, Fullton did a straight ahead '70 Fuzz pedal, housed in a much larger box and featured different silicon transistor, which Mike couldn't source out anymore.
This '70's fuzz features 2 intentionally mismatched BC-108 Transistors which gives you more volume and definition. These are not as prone to changing with temperature change, unlike many of the germanium transistors.
Most fuzz pedals like this only have a volume and fuzz control, but the added Mids control help to dial in the often lossed mids in a fuzz and help your guitar cut throgh the mix.
Internally, there's a small trim pot to adjust the bias - from smooth to aggressive and almost spitty sounding.
This Used pedal is in excellent condition. Can be powered by a 9 volt battery or power supply (not included)
This pedal can actually run off an 18 volt power supply, if desired, which will give you more headroom and clarity. Smooths out the lower gain setting too.
Because it's an analog fuzz, you can also use a 9 volt power supply that allows for a voltage sag. Lots of options for an ultimate fuzz machine!
