"Crafted in Japan" circa 2006/07, an excellent example of the Japanese Made re-issue Fender guitars.
This TL-62, '62 Re-Issue Telecaster, features an alder body - finished in "Old Lake Placid Blue", bolt on Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 21 Vintage style frets and vintage style 7.25" radius.
The neck profile is a classic '62 "C" shape and feels great.
Fender "Vintage" single coil Bridge and Neck pickups, 3 saddle vintage Telecaster bridge - with strings thru body.
Oddly, when we see some of the 60's style Telecasters from Japan, they're often the "Tele Custom" with the double bound body.
The Old Lake Placid Blue is one we don't see to often, and not a common colour.
The Japanese made guitars are fantastic and really close the gap between the regular re-issues and the American Vintage guitars.
This Consignment guitar is in Excellent condition - hardly any play wear at all.
A tiny bit of light scratch on the back of the body.
It looks great, plays great and rivals those USA Made Vintage Re-Issues.
