USED Fender Precision Bass Lyte 1985 MIJ w/case - CONSIGNMENT

4 String Active Electric Bass Guitar made in Japan for Fender.

Like the name "Lyte", this Bass is Lightweight... in the average range of 7 pounds.
The sleek Precision Bass body is made from Basswood and the neck is a Maple Neck with Rosewood Construction.
These were some of the earliest Japanese Made Basses in the Fender Line.
34" Scale Length, small Modern "C" neck shape - very comfortable and a unique Pickup Pan Knob which allows users to modulate the amount of the two pickups used.

The access panel for the electronics in the Lyte is located at the back of the bass, secured with 4 screws. There are four different control knobs on the Lyte, consisting of a Master Volume, Pan, Bass Boost/Cut and Treble Boost/Cut.

This Consignment Bass is in Very Good Condition with some minimal cosmetic wear - light scratches on the back control plate and, most notable, a lacquer crack on the top of the body at the neck joint, treble side - as seen in the picture.
