The Boxer Series was originally produced in the Late 80s, from Fender Japan, and part of the Contemporary Series of guitars and Basses from the same era.
This is a "Throwback" to the late 80's... Made in Japan (like the originals) featuring the Classic Telecaster Body shape (Basswood), 2 "Boxer" Humbucking pickups (with a coil tap for single coil sounds), Medium "C" neck profile,12" fret board radius and Jumbo frets.
Master volume control, TBX Bass/Treble expander tone control and 2 way toggle switch for coil tap.
Let's not forget that beautiful Torino Red finish, Black headstoc (with 80's Fender Japan Style Decal) and those Fender Japan knobs... those beautiful knobs.
