Product Description

6 String Electric Guitar Featuring 2 Humbucking pickups, Volume and TBX Tone Controls, coil tap, set neck construction in excellent condition with Original Case.

"I say Robben... you say Ford, Robbern... Ford, Robben... Ford!"

The Japanese Made Esprit series of guitars, from Fender, wasn't hugely popular back in the day.
Robben Ford was probably the biggest endorser of the model - he played the Esprit Ultra, which became the "Robben Ford" model and they made an American Custom Shop version of it, but I digress.

This Black Esprit Elite (circa 1984) features an alder chambered body with a carved maple top, set maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard and profile

A very playable guitar, well balanced, and a modern neck profile with a Gibson 24.75" scale length and Schaller hardware.
Featuring a stop tail piece, with fin tuners and a Schaller Roller Bridge.

Speaking of Schaller, and TONE, the two humbuckers are made by Schaller and they sound fantastic - the guitar, acoustically, has a great tone and resonance.
NOW, add the two TBS tone controls and the coil tap and you've got a very versatile tone machine. This is Truly a Telecaster meets Les Paul tone machine. Even in full humbucker mode, it's got a bit of a spank to it. And then add the TBX toys into the mix... Lookout for the tone train... it's about to leave the station (with you) destination Tone Town!

This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with some minor play wear... certainly in the best condition that we've seen of these older Esprit models!
Comes with the Original Hard Shell Case.
