USED Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb w/Cover & FTSW
This amp is in excellent conidtion, and is an awesome sounding 2 Channel, all tube 40 Watt Combo with Tremolo and Reverb with Cover and non-original footswitch. The included footswitch is a Fender, vintage style two button footswitch, but the two functions are labelled VIB and FAT. The VIB button turns the tremolo on and off, but the FAT swtich doesn't have any affect on the amp. Both the tremolo and reverb work without the footswitch. We believe this amp has had the popular "Moyer Mod" done to it. The Custom Vibrolux Reverb was designed with the reverb on both the Normal and Bright channels, and while this seems like a good feature the downside is a lot of noise on both channels, and an overall weaker reverb signal. Part of the Moyer Mod is to convert the channels from Normal and Bright to Normal and Vibrato, like a typical vintage Fender amp, resulting in Reverb on the Vibrato (or in this case "Bright") channel only, resulting in less noise, and the rich, deep, full reverb for which Fender is known. That has been done to this amp - the reverb is only found on the Bright channel, but sounds excellent! They Moyer Mod effectively turns these already great amps into more of a Vibroverb circuit, which is one of Fender's most revered amps. While we aren't certain that this is the modification that has been done, the strength of the reverb and reduced hiss and noise seem to point in that direction. At any rate, this is a gorgeous sounding amp which typifies the sparkling, full, crystal tone, with superb reverb, and lush grid-bias Tremolo.

These "Custom" Vibrolux amps were designed in the Fender Custom Shop and are NOT a typical Vibrolux reissue. They are essentially shrunken down Vibro King amps in a more classic and convenient form factor. The drive tones these amps tend to sport are extraordinary, and the on-board tremolo is among the best Fender ever produced.
These are great sounding amps! Every few years there seems to be a new "Holy Grail" Fender Tube Amplifier, ranging from the Princeton to the Twin.
This is another great one. With enough power for most gigs, this guy produces a wonderful classic Fender Tube Amp sound - from spanky clean to perfectly gritty.
The specially designed Jensen 10's speakers sound great together - one of the greatest combination of speakers for a guitar amplifier.
