Product Description

A used 1992 Fender SRV Stratocaster with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and the original hard shell case.

Weighs 7.4lbs

1992 was the first year of Fender’s Stevie Ray Vaughan signature Stratocaster — the launch run of the model that became the long-running SRV Strat. Early examples like this sit at the start of that line, not deep into later continuous production.

This guitar is fitted with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Brazilian is the tonewood collectors and players still hunt for on period Fenders: dense, tight-grained, and long associated with premium fingerboards from the era before later supply limits.
The"word on the street" says that roughly 100 SRV Strats were made with Brazilian Rosewood before they had to change to Pau Ferro.

Featuring 3 overwound Texas Special Single Coil Pickups, gold hardware, left handed reverse tremolo bridge and engraved SRV pickguard.
Body is alder fitted with a one piece maple neck, with that Brazilian Rosewood Finger Board, with a thick 60's Oval shape.

This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with very little play wear - it's 34 years old and doesn't look a day over a couple of weeks... still has the little red sticker on the trem bridge (to keep the tension spring from falling out) Comes with original hard shell case and case candy.
