6 String Solid body electric guitar featuring a basswood body with a figured maple top, 2 P-90 pickups, bolt on Figured Maple Neck with Original Case in Excellent condition.
The Axis Sport MM90 is almost the perfect blend of a Gibson and a Telecaster.
Not seen as often as the "regular" Axis models - with Humbucking pickups, the MM90 features a pair of Special designed P90 Pickups with the Music Man Silent Circuit, a 9 volt powered transparent circuit that gets rid of the noise associated with single coil/P90 pickups. You get all the growl and tone of the P-90's without the noise.
Somewhat of a Telecaster influenced body shape, originally designed with Sterling Ball and Ed Van Halen. It's very comfortable and not too over the top - fairly simple, with a wonderful bookmatched quilt maple top, finished in Trans Gold.
The Music Man necks have always been some of the most comfortable necks around. This features a "D" profile, asymmetrical shape along with the Music Man gun stock oil/wax blended hand rub finish.
The pickups are selected by a 3 way blade switch, along with a master Volume and Tone controls and a hard tail bridge.
This is a Solid guitar! Complete with the Schaller Locking tuners and the Music Man 5 Bolt neck attachment.
This Used guitar is in Excellent condition with a few small wear marks, most notable is a small ding near the top edge, close to the jack... seen in the picture.
The lacquer is worn off slightly beside the treble side of the stop tailpiece, as seen in the picture. Comes with the Original Hard Shell Case.
