The Classic line from Ernie Ball Music Man, the Silhouette Special... Similar to an "S" type guitar, but not really.
The "Silo" was famously used by Kieth Richards, but this is the "Special" which may actually appeal to more people.
Featuring an Alder Body, finished in high gloss poly "White", with a bolt on maple neck - featuring the sculpted 5 bolt system.
22 High profile medium frets, 10" radius, 25.5" scale length - Music Man are known for their very comfortable, playable necks with their gunstock oil hand rubbed wax finish.
Pickups are Seymour Duncan Humbucker, in the Bridge, and 2 Custom Dimarzio Single coil pickups, with a 5 way blade switch and master Volume and Tone controls.
This guitar features the Music Man Patented Silent Circuit - an active circuit that eliminates the noise associated with Single Coil pickups.
Originally, this guitar came with a Dimarzio Virtual PAF Humbucker.
Chrome hardware - Schaller Locking Tuners, Music Man Vintage Style Tremolo Bridge.
This Used guitar is in Very Good Condition with some cosmetic lacquer checking - as seen in the pictures, and comes with Original Hard Shell Case.
Original Volume and Tone knobs have been replaced with, much better looking, chrome with abalone inlay.
Not quite a "Player Grade" of guitar, but with some cosmetic lacquer checking, this is a great deal for a fantastic "S" style electric guitar, made in the USA.
