USED DR Z Mini 5 watt 1x8 Tube Amplifier Combo - CONSIGNMENT
5 Watt, all tube, 1x8 combo amplifier for electric guitar featuring a single Volume knob layout, EL84 power tube, handwired electronics, black tolex in excellent condition.
The Doctor is in the house! Dr Z, Mike Zaite designed this simple little powerhouse of an amplifier. It's like he took the classic Fender Champ and brought it into the modern age. Handmade in Ohio.
There's not too much to feature here - less is more - featuring a Single volume knob, 5 watts of power, 1x8 Weber Speaker.
Tube compliment is a single EL84 Power Tube and 12AX7 pre-amp tube.
A cool feature is a little tilt back leg, under the cabinet.
"Clean headroom? Well, this amp wasn’t built to give you much of that, but cleaner tones can be achieved by rolling back the guitar volume. But, if you’re like the rest of us, that’ll last about 30 seconds and then you’ll have the guitar on 10 and be wailing away again…"
Simple all tube amplifier, built like a tank, that gives you that overdrive tube tone.
This Great little consignment amplifier is in Excellent condition with some slight wear on the one side of the cabinet - seen in pictures.
