USED Dominion Electric Firebox Treble Booster Pedal w/Box
Analog compact treble booster guitar effects pedal a high gain mid boost effect featuring controls for Boost and Range, in Excellent condition with orginal box.
The Firebox is an Awesome full range treble booster inspired by the famous Dallas Rangemaster and the Caesar Diaz Texas Ranger pedal.
This one features an RCA 2N404 NOS Germanium Transistor and an internal Bias control.
The Treble Booster is funny - as a friend of mine said, a few years ago "It's a pedal I never realized I needed, until now"
The Firebox makes this much more versatile than a traditional Treble Booster, which, as the name suggests, boosts the treble frequencies. Goinng back to the late 60's when music was getting loud, you needed some help from your amp that was on 10 all the time and the magic solution was the treble booster. Today, not as much but nothing sounds like it.
This little guy has 2 controls - Boost and Range. Turn up the boost for more, BOOST, turn up the range for more bottom end being introduced into the boost.
It's versatile and sounds great.
Built by hand in small batches in the Countries Capitol Ottawa, using high quality and NOS components.
This Used pedal is in Excellent condition and comes with the original box and Pedal Bag for safe travels.
NOTE as mentioned in the pedal box, this oedal requires a 9 volt power supply with positive ground and does NOT work with daisy chain power supplies. You can use it with isolated power supplies (make sure you get the proper polarity)
Of course, it runs great (and I think the best) with a 9 Volt battery - just unplug the input, to save battery life, when not using the pedal.
