6 String Solidbody Electric Guitar with 1 Humbucker, 2 Single Pickups, Locking Tremolo Bridge, Maple Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard in Excellent condition with Case.
It came from the 80s'!!
Made in Japan, circa 1987, by Kyowa-Shokai under the IMC (International Music Corporation).
Super Strat designed by Grover Jackson, complete with pointy headstock and locking tremolo bridge.
Back when these "Shred" guitars were'nt just in the hands of Hair Metal/Glam Rock players. Back then most "Pop" guitar players were using these Super Strats, and for good reason.
Compared to what was around for years, these guitars played like butter! Yeah, the thinner, flat necks were "Shred Ready" but they were easy to play - why make things hard for yourself?
They stayed in tune! Thanks to the Jackson JT6, Licensed by Floyd Rose, Locking tremolo bridge they could take a punishing and keep on rocking.
They sounded great and were versatile! From Pop to Rock to New Wave, you could cover it all... even some Country players, in the 80's, were seen using these.
And, of course, what's an 80's Pop, New Wave, Rock song without a "Rock Guitar Solo?" Yeah, guitar was different back then with almost every song on the radio expected to have a ripping solo.
Made in Japan, featuring a Glossy Black finished Basswood Body, Quater Sawn Maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, 22 Jumbo frets, 2 Jackson J-100 Single Coil Pickups and Jackson J-90C Ceramic Humbucker.
The Jackson pickups were made in the USA with the single coils featuring an Alnico V Magnet, based off Classic Fender design from the 60's.
The Humbucker is a passive high output humbucker.
This Consignment guitar is in excellent condition with a little bit of play wear - most noticed on the top of the body, treble side between the single coil pickups and the edge of the body - seen in the picture.
Comes with molded hard shell case, whammy bar, strap, Charvel "Warranty Card" and booklet about the "Jackson Locking Tremolo Bridge".
