USED Analogman Prince of Tone Overdrive Pedal w/Box
Compact single channel overdrive pedal designed as a more accessible version of the iconic King of Tone Pedal, both made by Analogman featuring controls for Volume, Tone and Drive with a 3 way mini switch for different clipping modes, in excellent condition with original box and manual.
Based on a Modified Marshall Blues Breaker circuit, the Prince of Tone is Analogman's more compact, and easier to purchase, King of Tone.
The King of Tone has a Loooong wait list, they won't say how long but it's a number of years.
As mentioned, the Prince of Tone is the little brother to the King - single channel, more compact and a little easier to purchase new.
And, it has the Tone.
Single channel overdrive with 3 clipping modes - OD (Overdrive), Boost (Clean Boost) and Distortion.
The OD is The King of Tone sound - similar to a Tube Screamer but with more gain.
The Boost is more of a transparent clean boost with more clean headroom, more volume and designed to push the front of a tube amp.
The Distortion is a higher gain setting with more compression and more Crunch.
Internally, there are 2 dip switches and a trim pot.
The 2 switches is a Low-Mid Lift switch, enhancing lower frequncies
The other switch is a Turbo switch that adds more compression and more drive - more ideal for the Distorted setting.
This Used Pedal is in Excellent / Like New condition and comes with the original Box and guide.
Can be powere by a 9 vlt battery or appropriate power supply (not included)
Note - this pedal can be powered by a 12 or 18 volt power supply to increase headroom, consult the guide for more information.
