This specific model features the highly coveted Time Capsule Package (TCP) finish. Designed to look and feel like a vintage 1959 instrument that was purchased new, placed safely under a bed in its case, and discovered completely untouched decades later.
Unlike standard "New Old Stock" models, the TCP utilizes a paper-thin flash-coat nitrocellulose lacquer with no polyurethane base coat. This allows the lightweight, premium alder body to breathe naturally, delivering incredible acoustic resonance, immediate touch response, and a stunning vintage-correct sheen.
