USED 1971 Fender Telecaster, Blonde, OHSC - CONSIGNMENT
This Telecaster delivers the tone, playability, and great feel that you expect from a vintage Fender guitar, and is excellent shape for an over 50 year old guitar. This guitar's Ash wood grain beautifully shows through the original blonde finish, which as matured to a gorgeous, almost butterscotch, warm tone. You would be forgiven if you mistook this beauty for a brand new Custom Shop Journeyman Relic, but this is the real deal! Check out the gorgeous finish checking, and small dings and scars that pepper this beauty and imbue it with the gravitas that only comes from genuine play, and time. There is some discolouration on the bottom of the guitar from a guitar stand that was not Nitro-Safe, but that's just one of many stories that this beauty has to tell. This great playing, great sounding guitar has had some player-friendly changes done over the years, which will keep this guitar rocking for another 50+ years! This Tele had a beautiful refret job done by Ted Woodford, and has had the original switch and pots swapped out for modern, worry-free performance. This guitar comes complete with the original parts in the case, so the electronics could be swapped back to stock if desired. This 1971 Telecaster is a stunner, and not to be missed!
