The Ibanez Super Metal Mini is capable of a lot more than the name might imply. While it's obviously a great choice for a Full Metal Monster, it is also surprisingly effective as an amp-like overdrive. The tone shaping capabilities is pretty extraordinary due to the concentric pots that act as a broad 3-band EQ section as well as a level control. The Drive knob has an incredibly wide range from almost-clean to pure savagery. And it looks exceedingly rad with it's blue sparkle finish. All in a small footprint that's friendly to any pedal board layout.
