The rich midrange growl helps project the guitar through the mix, perfect for solos/pushing an amp into the stratosphere of touch sensitive overdriven bliss!
Like the original 808, the TS9 was designed with Maxon (and built by Maxon) and created an "instant classic" overdrive / boost pedal.
To commemorate the 4 decades, Ibanez have release a limited edition Bright Ruby Red version complete with a bright Red LED Indicator.
