The Ibanez JS140M replaces the regular JS140, now with a Maple Fretboard and a new finish - Soda Blue. It looks Smurftastic! The Satriani line of Ibanez guitars have always been a fantastic guitar for all styles. This isn’t just a potential shred machine it features a very comfortable JS Shaped neck profile with a 9.8” radius. The combination of an Infinity RD humbucker at the neck and a Quantum humbucker at the bridge gives you everything from warm, round tone to screaming leads, and you can access single-coil tones with the push-pull tone knob.
Comes stringed with 9-42 gauge strings.
This signature guitar was designed by Joe with Ibanez to be a multi purpose, performance packed instrument for any gigging situation. And Joe knows that - from his early Funk days, to pop/rock sounds of the Greg Kihn Band, to touring with icons such as Mick Jagger and Deep Purple.
