USED Traynor YGL-1 15 Watt Amplifier
15 Watt All Tube Combo Amplifier based on the original Guitar Mate Amplifier.
The Original Traynor YGL Guitar Mate Amplifiers are a simple design all tube 15-18 Watt Canadian Made Tone Monsters.
A few years ago Traynor decided to update the classic with this new YGL-1 featuring an all tube design (based around EL84 power tubes) an effects loop and a "Tone Selection Mode"...
"The mode switch relocates the tone stack relative to the gain stage, giving the YGL1 either a crisp ‘American’ style tube amp tone for clarity and definition (USA mode) or a grittier, more ‘spongy’ ‘British’ flavor associated with the great UK amps of the 60s and 70s ( Brit mode).
The third option is a \”Pure\” mode which bypasses the tone stack entirely, delivering a mid and overall gain boost allowing for the most direct signal path possible between your fingers and the speaker."
Traynor also decided to load these with Celestion Greenback 12" Speaker.
Overall this used amp is in Excellent Condition with very little signs of use.
