Although the serial number suggests 2005, this is acutally a 2006 and sports a 60th Anniversary medallion on the back of the headstock. This guitar is un unbelievable condition for it's 16 years of age, with no fret wear.
Produced from 2000-2008 as part of the American Series, the American Telecaster® was the flagship U.S. made guitar. Features included a modern "C" shaped neck with 22 medium jumbo frets, Fender-branded Schaller® tuning machines with staggered post heights for better string tension, an updated strings-through-body bridge with stainless steel saddles, and two American Series single-coil pickups. The model was replaced by the American Standard series in 2009.
