Fender '64 Custom Deluxe Reverb
It doesn't get much better than this - a handwired, point-to-point Fender Deluxe Reverb which actually manages to improve on the original! This "Custom" version of the absolute classic Deluxe Reverb features Normal and Bright channels as opposed to the Normal and Vibrato channels of the originals. In this version the amp benefits from reverb and tremolo on both channels, with the Normal being warmer in voice, and responding better to drive pedals than its vintage counterpart, and the Bright channel delivering the quintessential Fender sparkling definition. Another improvement found in this amp over the original is that the tremolo has been upgraded from the choppy, somewhat stale Optical circuit, to a lush, dimensional, dreamy, and swampy Tube Bias tremolo circuit.
